This study was conducted to identify the reasons that children get referred to developmental and behavioral pediatricians (DBPs). Information on the diagnoses the children received, assessments completed or recommended, and length of the visits was obtained at 12 DBPNet sites.

Participating Sites: Boston Medical Center, Children's Hospital of Boston, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Standford University School of Medicine, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, University of California at Davis M.I.N.D. Institute, Hasbro Children's Hospital, Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Yale University School of Medicine, The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center
